There are all types of different ways to communicate. When Kim Silva retired from teaching at the American School for the Deaf, she decided to take up a challenge and teach sign language to some improbable students – her cats! She wanted to do this so it would help her deaf cat Bambi live a better life.
We assume that only dogs can obey and perform tricks, but these intelligent felines take obedience to the next level! Kim has taught all her three cats to respond accordingly to sign language and they are pros at this now! Kim hopes that this video helps inspire other people to adopt deaf cats as well.
