A scared dog fell into a handmade open well, which is very common in India. She tried to find purchase somewhere in the well, but without any way to get out, her chances seemed bleak. Finally, she was able to find a small ledge she could hold on to, but the people who found her weren’t sure how long she could survive in there, and they didn’t know how to get her out.
They called Rescuers, and their volunteers quickly came to this poor pup’s rescue. Thank goodness for their help! One of the rescuers strapped a harness on and let himself be lowered down into the well. The scared pup let herself be picked up and pulled back up and out. Now she’s living in their shelter and waiting for her forever home!
Imagine what would have happened if these volunteers had not been there to save her. We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication!
