The ocean is an incredible place. Covering more than half of the world’s surface, we can’t even begin to fathom what is lurking under the surface. Isn’t it amazing to know that humanity knows more about what’s in outer space than what is in our oceans? It is home to billions of organisms, many of which we haven’t even discovered yet! And there is still so much to be learned about the ones that we do know about.
Among all sea creatures, most people tend to adore dolphins. They are incredibly intelligent mammals, and their cute features add to their charm too. Coming across dolphins splashing in the ocean while on a cruise might be one of the most magical things ever! The man who took this video, Captain Dave Anderson, also happened to be in the right place at the right time.
This footage was captured by a drone flying over Dana Point in California. It captured a huge stampeded of dolphins, gray whales and even humpback whales! This massive movement caused quite a commotion on the surface, and it looked really stunning from an aerial view. The animals made unique and wonderful patterns while swimming along, and it’s mesmerizing to say the least.
The fact that this was filmed from a high vantage point makes it even more exciting. This shows an incredible phenomenon happening from a perspective and angle we rarely see, and it is a treat to the eyes indeed!
