When they started their trip to the adventure racing world championship, this team of Swedish athletes called Peak Performance knew that their road ahead would not be easy; that they had to go through many difficulties to even finish the race. They were accustomed to terrible conditions and a rough environment, but nothing in the world had prepared them for what happened next!
When they came near the Ecuadorian rainforests, they decided to take a short break and rest their tired bodies before working the dangerous 20 miles trek. There they came across a stray dog. A team member called Mikael Lindnord saw him staring, so he gave him his meatball. And that’s where this lifelong friendship started. The dog started following them for the rest of the whole 430 miles long journey. They called him Arthur. After the race was over, Mikael couldn’t leave him behind, so he adopted him. And now their bond grows stronger!
