Residents of a neighbourhood in Canowindra Court, Australia, are deeply disturbed after witnessing a 59-year-old man using his puppy as target practice. The neighbors followed the distress sounds coming from the man’s property to find the man blatantly firing arrows at his defenceless puppy.
The 8-month-old puppy, named Bucket, tried his best to escape the arrows fired at him by his dad. However, one of the 3 arrow shots struck Bucket in the back. Neighbours immediately intervened and took Bucket to the hospital. Sadly, the battered puppy had to be euthanized due to the severity of his injuries.
Officers at the Byron Bay Police Station are investigating this bone-chilling case of animal abuse. The name of the accused has not been revealed yet. Get the word out and help cops track down this horrendous man.
Update: Cops recently updated that they have arrested the man and charged him with “aggravated cruelty upon an animal and recklessly beating and seriously injuring an animal”. However, he was set free on conditional bail. He is set to appear in court next month. Get the word out and ask for the maximum punishment for this evil man.
