Emma arrived at at Apricot Lane Farms a very skinny and sickly pig. To complicate matters she was also pregnant! Farmer John Chester was told Emma would be lucky if she gave birth to 6 piglets. When the big day came, Emma beat the odds, giving birth to 13 surviving piglets. But the intense labor took its toll on Emma’s health and she was soon fighting to stay alive.
It wasn’t until the sow realized her purpose that a true miracle took place.
