Tia Torres is a true champion for the underdog. On her hit Animal Planet show Pit Bulls and Parolees, Tia is a spokesperson for those deemed outcasts of society. She may act tough, but she has a heart of gold.
The show follows ex-convicts as they are released from prison and then paired up with homeless, unwanted Pit Bulls. Tia says the two controversial characters don’t judge each other like the rest of society. Instead, they teach each other skills like compassion, responsibility and love.
Tia recently stopped by Ellen with one of her Pits, Snorkie, who needed a home. Judging from Ellen’s reaction, and the reaction of the audience, something tells me it didn’t take long for this guy to get adopted!
