Picture the scene, you’re enjoying fun in the sun, you head out to sea to give wakeboarding a go and all of a sudden, you’ve made some new friends out of nowhere. But these friends aren’t human. Oh no, in fact, you’ve managed to attract the attention of some very curious sea life.

This woman who went wakeboarding ended up wakeboarding with dolphins as more and more suddenly started emerging from the ocean to greet her.

That’s right, this woman ended up being tailed by a pod of dolphins while she went wakeboarding.

Wyatt Miller, a professional windsurfer captured the incredible footage of the dolphins surfing alongside the wakeboard in the Sea of Cortez at the Gulf of California. Wyatt had headed out with the crew from Pro-Windsurf La Ventana.

The woman wakeboarding with dolphins never expected to see the amount they did!

They thought they may see a jellyfish or two, even the occasional dolphin. But to have a whole hoard of them follow the woman on the wakeboard was unbelievable.

“This was definitely one of the TOP 3 afternoons of my LIFE!!!”

We can see why! The footage Wyatt captured was incredible and just when you think you’ve seen it all, more dolphins join in with the swim.

While they were out on the boat, they noticed a couple of dolphins start to swim alongside the female wakeboarder. But more and more just kept appearing. This truly will have been a once in a lifetime opportunity.

They seemed pretty friendly, I think they were just showing off. After all, they did manage to keep up with the boat!
