Every living being has two types of families, one he is born into and the other he chooses himself. The latter comes to be our close friends. Some people have friendships that are much closer to us than our blood relatives. We find solace in them, often confiding our heartaches and fears.
Bonifazii and Yasha, are a cat and parakeet, respectively, who have an unbreakable bond.
Since they met, the two animals have fallen in love with one another. While Bonifazii is gentle and calm, Yasha is bubbly, mischievous, and hyper.
Yasha loves to serenade Bonifazii with its beautiful voice.
Yasha hops on Bonifazii’s back while going for a ride around the apartment. The two can be found snuggling each other while affectionately scratching the other’s nose. When they are outside, Bonifazii runs around while Yasha follows suit by flying.
“They have been together for five years,” says Irina, their human.
The 10-year-old Bonifazii and five-year-old Yasha share a beautiful friendship in spite of the age difference. The duo is always taking care of one another.
“They chase each other all over the apartment. We have a lot of fun,” Irina admits.
Yasha is the mischievous one who doesn’t let Bonifazii sleep. Whenever he sits down for a nap, Yasha comes over seeking his attention. Nonetheless, Boni is very protective of his chirpy little friend and always watches out for him.
Yasha adores Boni and showers him with nose kisses.
They are happy to be a part of each other’s life.
Irina set up an Instagram account where she shares photos and videos of the two beautiful animals. The feline and tiny bird have close to 2,000 followers.
