All creatures deserve love and attention. Sadly, most people neglect the creatures when they are in dire need of help.
Pam is an adorable lamb that was neglected by her owners in a filed. She was on the brink of death when rescuers came to her aid. Pam was a few days old and lay helplessly in an abandoned field in Chile. Fortunately, Santuario Igualdad animal rescue shelter in El Monte housed her till she regained her strength.
Pam was nursed back to health but has a problem with her hind legs. Her hind legs cannot support her weight and doctors think she may have spinal damage.
Probably, the owner abandoned Pam because of her inability to walk. Sadly, the lamb might never walk but her rescuers are not giving up on her.
Isadora Godoy, the office manager, and other rescuers have created a walking device that fits the lamb.
It helps Pam move around and exercises her muscles. The lamb is now able to take a few steps, though wobbly.
