Chimp Spits Drink Out With Excitement When He Spots His Old Carers

Reunions can be pretty awesome occasions, furthermore, they can also get quite emotional. But it’s not just humans who love catching up with an old friend. This chimp spits his drink when he sees his old caretakers.

That’s right, I thought spit takes were just a thing that happened in comedy sketches. But in actual fact, a spit take can take anybody by surprise – even animals.

Limbani is a rescued chimp who had pneumonia when he was born and so he was, sadly, rejected by his mother. Thankfully, he was taken in and looked after by a couple alongside the Zoological Wildlife Foundation.

A chimp spits his drink out when he gets a surprise from his former caretakers

“Tania and her husband, Jorge, who helped us raise and take on full around the clock care for the first few months of his life. Limbani, who was born with pneumonia was rejected by the mother. Without human intervention and modern medicine, he wouldn’t be here today. Tania and Jorge can go without seeing him for a couple months and his reaction is always the same.”

I don’t know about you, but I think this reunion is all too adorable. In fact, you can see how much love there is between them all as Limbani immediately leaps into their arms for a big hug. It doesn’t get much cuter than this, that’s for sure.
