A resident of Dunedin, New Zealand, was shocked one day when he saw a random horse inside of his house with him. The friendly horse had made herself right at home as if there were nothing weird about it at all! ????
Sharq had escaped her owner’s place the other day to wander the neighborhood and check things out. And that’s when she decided to step into the home of a stranger named Doug Renoe. He took to Facebook to say:
“Is anyone in Highcliff area missing a horse? This one has come inside eaten half my dinner and also my wife’s carrots from garden. We will keep her for a pet if not claimed.”
Sharq’s owner, Ben Telfer-Hynes, was then made aware of this post. He was relieved but not surprised that his horse had done such a thing. As an indoor horse, Sharq thought nothing of walking into this person’s home!
Sharq was safely returned home to her owner, but no one would ever know all of the adventures she went on during her escapade. Thankfully, she lives in a neighborhood that’s super inviting and understanding of such horse shenanigans!
