The workers at Suffolk County SPCA joined hands with local cops to raid a tortured home hiding 12 neglected and emaciated dogs. The detectives had earlier received a tip about dogs being abused in that home, but the reality of those trapped dogs was far worse than they had expected.

The cops found a dead Pit Bull in the substandard living conditions of the house. 10 other Pit Bulls and 1 Beagle mix were found living in locked cages and decaying crates inside the home. The cages had a thick layer of urine and feces and none of the dogs had any access to food or water.
One of the dogs is said to be in a critical condition because of multiple open wounds that require immediate lifesaving surgery. The dogs are currently under the care of Islip Animal Shelter.
If you have any information on the owner of the home or the caretaker of the dogs, you are requested to contact the authorities. Let’s spread the word and help the cops find the scumbag responsible for this abuse!

Update: Cops have arrested 55-year-old Peter Watson on 3 counts of animal cruelty and criminal possession of narcotics. Peter was arraigned and released, with the order to not obtain or possess any other animal. He is set for another hearing at a later date. Let’s spread the word and demand a fitting sentence for Peter!
