She was found shivering, alone, and abandoned at a dumpster in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. A two-year-old female Pit Bull mix believed to have given birth to a few litters was discovered all alone in the freezing cold.
Sadly, the dog was found wandering with a crate in the icy temperatures high atop a dumpster near Knox Avenue. If someone did not find her, the dog surely would have had a more grim outcome.

Animal control officers were able to track down the dog’s owners who may or may not face animal cruelty charges, pending an investigation.
“The animal is in decent shape, decent weight,” CEO of Humane Animal Rescue Dan Rossi shared.

The sweet pup is a bit shy, has some stomach issues, but overall is doing okay considering what she’s been through. For the time being, she is being treated for worms, being fed, and will remain at the rescue for now.
If her owners are found guilty of animal cruelty, she will be put up for adoption. If they are not, the dog could be given back to them.
