11-Year-Old Boy Stops Traffic To Rescue Crying Dog Hit By Car

Although most people don’t even care about others on the planet, some people are willing to go beyond anything just to keep them safe. Although he is only 11 years old, this boy proved that you don’t have to be a giant to be a superhero. Everything is risking his life to save a wounded dog.

Jean Fernandes from Brazil was walking down the street and saw a dog crying in the middle of the street. According to the local news agency Globo Rural, it was apparent that this helpless creature was hit by a car and the driver ran away, which made him very painful. Fortunately, the eleven-year-old hero can’t just watch the dog suffer. He knew he had to do something, so he rushed into the street, stopped the traffic, then grabbed the dog in his arms and took him to safety.

Fortunately, when the locals captured this warm moment with their cameras, the noble gesture was not overlooked. Photographer Rafael Martins took a few snapshots of the scene and shared them online. As expected, the post immediately went viral on Facebook, and many people expressed admiration for the boy’s beautiful posture. One person described this moment perfectly; “This little boy is already older than many men,” the woman wrote.

When asked about his son’s friendliness, the mother said that his behavior did not surprise her, because for as long as she remembered, he liked animals very much. In addition, her son is always ready to help homeless animals. The dog that Jean rescued was named Mel-honey in English and was taken to a local animal shelter, where he was treated for his injuries and is expected to make a full recovery soon.
