“Washington County – Johnson City Animal Shelter” is dealing with one of the most disturbing cases of animal abuse just days before the holidays. The shelter has revealed that an owner allegedly attacked his cat for playing with the Christmas Tree, which ultimately led to the cat’s death.

The owner, 24-year-old Aaron Duke Rover, initially brought the cat to the shelter, claiming that he had “discovered” the injured feline. The cat had multiple wounds suggestive of a violent beating. Eventually, the poor creature succumbed to his injuries and passed away within a day.
Later, the shelter received a video from a friend of Aaron’s fiancé, which clearly captured him assaulting his cat. Cops are now investigating the matter as a case of aggravated animal cruelty. Let’s spread the word and help the cops find and arrest this sinister owner.

Update: Cops have updated that Aaron has been arrested and charged with one count of animal cruelty. He admitted to “striking” the cat for “messing” with his Christmas Tree. He has already appeared for a preliminary hearing and is set to return for another hearing in the coming months. The shelter has demanded the strictest conviction for Aaron. Let’s spread the word and support the shelter’s fight for justice.
