The officers of the Corona Police Department were having a hard day after a felon suspect kept evading them. 31-year-old Julio Vasquez was wanted for stalking and attempting to run over his estranged wife with his vehicle. But Julio managed to escape the cops after a tiring chase from Fontana to Corona.
After the unfruitful pursuit, the cops summoned K9 Duke for assistance. Meanwhile, they tried to crack Julio’s window by firing rubber pellets. The officers’ struggle swiftly ended when K9 Duke arrived. The brave dog wasted no time and made a super-leap into Julio’s car. He smashed through the window and quickly overpowered Julio!
In a released footage, Julio is seen begging the cops to get the ferocious K9 off his body. Julio suffered several bite wounds after he tried punching Duke away. He is now under police custody and he will be booked for stalking as well as evading the cops. Thankfully, Duke was completely unharmed in this ordeal.
Duke is a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois who had previously served in the Marine Corps in Iraq. Officers call him naturally driven and amazing at his duties. After watching him in action, many impressed citizens are even calling him a lightning-quick “fur missile”. He’s definitely a nightmare for all the criminals out there! Go, Duke!
