Corporal Plymale with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) happened to be driving by the Union Cemetary when a man flagged him down. A sweet, friendly Pit Bull mix puppy was found discarded in a plastic bag on the southwest Florida cemetery’s grounds.
Normally, no one is in the area, but the unidentified man was walking by, Corporal Plymale was in the area, and they were able to save the pup’s life.
Named Bouncer, he is currently in the care of DCSO as the person or persons responsible are tracked down. Whoever did this wanted the tiny pup to perish in the plastic bag?
When a reporter spoke to the good Samaritan who found Bouncer and flagged down Corporal Plymale, he had words for the person who did this.
“There’s always a better way than leaving it to die,” he shared.
