Dog Dies After Getting Hit By A Car, Cops Looking For Reckless Driver Who Fled

A Minneapolis man is seeking justice after his beloved dog died in a tragic hit and run incident. Owner Chris Englund says he was using a pedestrian crossing with his dog, Bozley when a dark-coloured Minivan/SUV struck them and drove off.

Chris suffered many minor injuries but Bozley immediately went into shock. He was rushed to University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center, where he was found to have suffered three fractured ribs and pulmonary contusion, among other injuries. He was bleeding internally and eventually passed away after a cardiac arrest.

Chris and his family feel incredibly wronged after losing their innocent dog so unexpectedly. Bozley had had his picture taken with Santa at a shelter’s charity event just minutes before he was hit by the car.

Apart from the driver’s recklessness, Chris also feels that the botched planning of the roadways and intersections is also to blame. Meanwhile, Minneapolis Police are combing through local CCTVs to see if they can get a license plate on the vehicle. Spread the word and help the cops track down this irresponsible driver.
