Josh and Terri’s Dalmatian was ready to give birth, but no one could’ve been prepared for the litter that was about to come! They were under the impression she was pregnant with about 10 puppies on the way, but they were totally stunned by the end of the day after a total of 19 pups were born.
The puppies kept coming at a rate of about one per hour over the course of the 19-hour birthing process. It must’ve felt like there was no end in sight!
“It’s official we have tied the National record for most puppies born in the USA with 19 puppies The Mothers name is Velma she is doing very well we are helping her feed the pups every 3-4 hours now. they are all precious and unique,” the couple said in a statement on Facebook.
Not exactly 101 Dalmatians, but maybe this is the real-life equivalent! ????
