Cops have issued a warning after 2 women got scammed and assaulted by thieves posing as buyers for puppies on Craigslist. As reported, Jesselle Pablo and Szarotka Narzekalski from Sacramento were trying to sell a French Bulldog puppy for a family member. But the sale went downhill and the women got robbed instead.

The thieves, a man and a woman, not only ran off with the puppy who was put up for sale, but also stole Jesselle’s own pet dog. Szarotka tried to stop the thieves as they took off, but they violently tried to hit her and run her over with their car. The poor woman suffered a chipped tooth, several cuts, and a busted head that required 3 stitches.
Security camera has captured the male suspect in action, but his face is not entirely visible. Jesselle has further informed that the male suspect drove a red Sedan and used the name “Jacob” on Craigslist. He is a Hispanic male with green eyes, while the female suspect is believed to be of Asian origin.

Meanwhile, Sacramento police have requested people to conduct Craigslist sales in a safe public place and avoid isolated spots or their own homes. Cops are relying on public for any tips or information that can help them track the thieves or the 2 puppies. Let’s spread the word and help the cops catch the thieves and retrieve the missing puppies.
