Bold Police K-9 Leaps Through Broken Car Window To Apprehend Pursuit Suspect

Duke the ‘Superdog’ is a K-9 who works alongside his parter, Michael Neff, with the Corona Police Department in California. He and Neff work together to solve crimes and bust the bad guys.

Duke’s most recent bust came when a suspect refused to get out of his truck following a high-speed freeway chase, that led police on multiple freeways near Los Angeles from Corona to Fontana. California Highway Patrol even deployed road spike strips to try and stop him.

Officer Neff gave the suspect several opportunities to give up and get out of his truck once he was stopped, but he still refused.

After cops fired rubber bullets to break the truck’s windows, K-9 Duke glided through the air and jumped through the broken window to help apprehend the driver. The suspect learned the hard way not to mess with Duke!

Thanks to Duke, the suspect, 31-year-old Julio V. Ugalde, was arrested and treated at a hospital for minor injuries. Ugalde was accused of stalking as well as evading police.

Duke was unharmed during the incident.
