Apocalyptic Scenes As Australia Burns, Dead Animals Start Falling From The Sky

With the devastating wildfires and unchecked pollution levels, the temperatures have been breaking all records in Australia. In an alarming set of photos shared by a farmer, native sulphur-crested cockatoos are seen lying dead on the ground after falling from the sky due to heat exhaustion. The recorded temperature that particular day was over 120F!

Environmentalists fear that the entire wildlife in Australia is at huge risk due to the drought, heat and ongoing bushfires. Animals’ frail bodies stop functioning in temperatures above 108F. This has caused deaths of thousands of creatures over the past month alone. It has been especially hard on bats, as countless dehydrated bats are seen falling dead from the sky in the wake of the heat wave.

Recently, Sydney’s skyline was blanketed with a thick layer of brown, hazardous smoke due to the catastrophic bushfires that has already claimed many human lives and destroyed property. Animals too have lost their homes, food and water source. If the fires aren’t contained, the wildlife won’t survive for long.

Animal activists are working tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate as many animals as they can. We send our prayers to the at-risk animals in Australia, and hope that their situation improves soon. This is nature giving us a stern warning that we need to step up and save our planet and its inhabitants before it’s too late. Spread the word!
