Kathryn Van Beek was walking home on a rainy day when something caught her eye. At first she thought it was just a rat, but she soon realized it was a small kitten. She couldn’t believe it and had to do something.
Kathryn scooped up the kitten and saw that he still had his umbilical cord attached.
She named him Bruce (after Bruce Wayne) and proceeded to take him home.
After 12 days, the kitty still hadn’t opened his eyes and remained very small.
But it wasn’t long before Bruce opened his eyes to a brand new world. ????
Little Bruce was determined to live and started eating on his own.
And Mom did everything possible to keep him warm and healthy.
All of the hard work soon started to pay off.
After 9 weeks, Bruce was acting like a normal cat!
Now a healthy 2 pounds, Bruce looked so different from the cat found in the rain that day.
He’s a beauty! Thanks to Kathryn, he’s now living the life. ????
What a lucky turn Bruce’s life took that day. Just amazing!
