Cops in Youngstown, Ohio, are investigating a disturbing case of animal cruelty involving a young Pug named Mr. Wrinkles. Witnesses say a violent psychopath entered Mr. Wrinkle’s owner’s home and “savagely punt kicked” the dog in the face till he collapsed. The abuser ran off while Mr. Wrinkles was rushed to Countryside Veterinary in Kinsman.
Mr. Wrinkles was in critical condition due to a broken lower-jaw, necrotic tissues and several graphic wounds. In an emergency surgery, the vet staff removed the front portion of his infected jaw along with several teeth. The poor dog is traumatized but he is expected to recover under foster care.
Due to the highly cost-intensive nature of Mr. Wrinkles’ recovery and rehabilitation, his owners have surrendered him to the care of rescue group “The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project”. The shelter has raised funds of over $8,000 to support Mr. Wrinkles.
They have also decided to offer a $3,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the monster responsible for assaulting this helpless dog. Put the word out and help the cops track down this psychotic monster.
