A vet assistant named Jana Aviles spotted a strange-looking stray cat brought in for an injury at Cabarrus Animal Hospital in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The cat’s horizontally stretched-out ears and huge dreamy-eyes definitely made her stand out. She looked just like Baby Yoda from the sensational 2019 Star Wars sub-franchise “The Mandalorian”!
Jana shared the cat’s images on social media and the feline became an overnight star! After learning that she is a homeless cat, people from far-off countries started contacting Jana because they wanted to adopt the cat. However, Jana and the cat’s rescue shelter want her to be homed locally after her treatment is over.
While the cat may have found fame due to her uncanny Baby Yoda looks, a section of the internet isn’t so sure about this resemblance. Fans of the Harry Potter franchise swear that the cat looks more like Dobby, the loyal house elf from Potterverse. This sweet little cat has surely divided the internet with her adorable features!
Honestly, we’re just glad that this precious cat was rescued and taken care of. The shelter was initially overwhelmed by the number of adoption requests for Baby Yoda Kitten, but they are now using this opportunity to urge people to adopt one of the many unfortunate cats waiting to find a home in shelters across the word.
